Color gray light green with gold and blonde highlights. Advanced nose gaining in complexity with time. Aromas of white flowers, white pepper, bay leaf, herbal cues (memories of asparagus and celery) and notes of clove and thyme emerge with increasing intensity from the glass. Intensive mouth reminiscent of unripe peach, lime, tangerine, tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), flower honey and bitter almonds. A continuous labeling the sense of rock and gravel. High acidity and long aftertaste. A real poem of wine art! A white with character, from those I like to drink.

At second time memories of wet forest and leaves of mint and eucalyptus. Mouth analogue tension develops aromas of the nose. Pineapple and lemon complement the palette and broad hints of wood and vanilla flower honey. Body volume, high acidity and long aftertaste. Distinct and sweet barrel, not annoying however, that lends strength and depth. What else can you ask from a new world barrel chardonnay?

Colour dark red. Nose +middle intensity, with links in skin but also in benzolic perfumes. An second time memories of wet wood and licorice. Mouth of similar intensity with fruity character. Juicy red berries in the palette, cherry, plum, vanilla and references to coriander and violet. The animal cues is felt in the mouth. A long-lasting aftertaste with a slight bitterness on the finish. A great version of mavrodaphne.
