Simply a fantastic Neb, my favorite grape. Bought the last bottle of this vintage from the vinery. It drank fantastic four years ago. Has only gotten better with time. Sipping on the third day. Fruit and tannins are sublime. Wish I had a case.

My first pandemic vintage. Big and balaced GSM. Drinking young. Purchased from a Costco in San Francisco Bay Area. No detectable flaws. Spicy syrah comes through on nose. Med acid. Med tanin. Big grenache fruit. Finishing dry tanic. Enoyed with rib eye steak. Some will prefer it in a year or two after the tannins mellow. I like it now. Will purchase more.

PnP impression: Intial off gasing of oak followed by fruit. No defects apparent on the nose—this is a good bottle. First sip: fruit forward. Almost as if it’s blended with Barbera. No heavy oak. Med accidity. Long finish with firm tannis, but not overpowering. The fruit from Langhe is of good quality. It was harvested, fermented, aged, and bottled properly. This wine is not an Oak bomb. Overall Impressive: For Nebbiolo fans, this is a very good wine that happens to be inexpensive, and that makes it an exceptional value IMO. I will be buying more. This doesn’t need further aging. Drink now. It should have long shelf life if property stored, 20+ years. The fact it’s fruit forward makes it approachable so a good introduction to wine fans new to Nebbiolo.
