Pop-n-pour at cellar temp. High fill bottle, perfect cork. Initially delicate and very muted/monotone/simple dark cherry. In 30 minutes, wine had warmed a bit and with the air, the complexity blossomed with an undertone of black fruits, cigar, and tannins. The interest didn't last long and in about 20 minutes, it fell down and disappeared to its original form.
Double decanted in morning back into bottle. Huge black and blue fruit. Parker's "earthy and meaty" notes are on. Surprisingly easy to drink (if you love huge Cali cab beasts like I do). Well integrated oak with some chocolate tones. Opened this by accident and would love to revisit with age.
