Deg. July 2007. Medium straw. Mature nose, baked apples, caramel, toast and minerals, nice mousse with tiny bubbles, concentrated and rich but with quivering acidity that produces goose bumps (do geese get man bumps when they drink something sour?) Previous bottle in 2009 had a lot of sea and oyster aromas that I miss in this bottle. Still, this is a nice champagne.

Tannins have started to round off. Still deep and concentrated fruit. Great wine, will continue to improve for many years.
