Intense nose of coffee, toast, dark fruit, smoke. The fruit comes through on the palate, but the tannins are quite tough and haven't integrated as of yet. Good acidity as well. It is as if the fruit, acidity and tannins are all playing separate roles at this point. I would leave it for another 5 years. However, I kept coming back to drink it. It is going to be a very good wine.
Tasted twice in the past 6 months with consistent notes. Decanted for a hour prior to tasting. Dark ruby colour. The bouquet is muted, hinting at dark berry and graphite. The next 5 hours did little to open it up. Palate was subdued as well, showing only the dark berry. A fairly one dimensional wine. A real lack of fruit and a dry finish. I keep expecting more.

Still quite young and needs time to open up. Hints of mushrooms and dark fruit. Beautiful silky wine. No rating at this time as we didn't give it enough time to open up, but the potential is clearly showing through. Don't be afraid to leave this one alone for another three to five years.
