Took the bottle to Chapters in Blackheath in London, opened and decanted and started drinking with the main (Braised Ox Cheek - 99 points btw). The fruit really jumps out the glass after 30 minutes after near enough constant swirling, on the palate there is a hint on chocolate even Mocha if I remember rightly, good fruit and nice long finish. I think this wine will show a lot better in 2017 but if decanted for 2+ hours you shouldn't have any problems, great wine produced by a 1st growth wine making team that doesn't cost too much. Enjoy

Opened and left for 2 hours in decanter, dark colour and very little bricking at the edge. The nose immediately jumps out and says keep swirling and it just keeps on giving as the wine slowly warmed up. On the palate the classic St Estephe fruit really gets to grip in the mouth, lots of dark fruit almost like fruit juice, sweet and very enjoyable, very very happy with this buy as we picked up a case very cheap at auction. I suspect this will have at least another 20 years life ahead of it and will keep getting better. Enjoy
