WOW what a bargain. Great nose with earth and dark fruits (plum). Silky, rich tannins with some dust, chocolate candy-ball'esque notes (the kind you find in those long paper wrappers) and a little bit of earth. Medium to full bodied. Worth a case purchase IMO for the price...drinks like a $40+ wine.

Dark as can be garnet color. Nose showed coco bean, really dark fruit, tar and maybe a tad of cedar. A very rich red with chocolate, blueberry and a tad of spice on the palate. Opened nicely as the night progressed but really needs food (dessert preferably). Almost as if you are drinking a heavily concentrated (but awesome) mix of dark fruits and chocolate.

A beautiful nose with hints of cassis, blueberry, oak and a rich blackberry. The mid-palate however was bitterly tannic. I almost felt like I was biting into the vine....maybe a bad bottle but I was not impressed. Could use 10+ more years of cellaring.
