Decanted 1hr. Intense perfumed nose, violets, meaty savouriness, almonds, black bramble fruits and some salinity. Exceptional - so VCC. Palate has light medium, very fine tannins, fresh acidity - perhaps a slight lightness to the palate but brimming with rosemary, bramble. Has good persistence but seems to be lacking some depth at the moment. A little young, needs to round out some more but will always be on the lighter end of the spectrum. Drink now-2035.

[NB 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.] Decanted 1 hour. Deep red with light paling to orange rim. Intense nose with ripe blackcurrants, violets, sweet spice with some pepperyness, salinity and rosemary. Palate is rich, round - very intense with extra long persistence. Clear fine tannins, providing a good grip and texture, plenty of fresh acidity with blackcurrants, plenty of aniseed & rosemary (including stalks) on the aftertaste. Still showing primary flavours not having moved through to secondary notes. Continuing to open up in the glass - suggest longer decant. An excellent wine, quite young really with plenty of years ahead. A real gem. Drink now-2040.

Short decant. Deep in colour. Rich nose with deep ripe blackcurrant, violet, pencil shavings and some hoisin. Really intense on the palate with lots of fresh acidity, very fine tannins and oodles of ripe blackcurrant fruits. A juicy, unctuous wine and really appealing. No rush to drink but super now. Drink now-2030.
