9/25/2020 2:12:00 PM - You’re doing what I would have, but the wines may still be too young. Most MBs really need a lot of age to begin to show. I’ve had two recently that were showing OK, an ‘11 and an ‘02.

9/25/2020 2:02:00 PM - Hi Mike: We have a 5-6 bottle vertical of Ridge Monte Bello from 2008 through most current releases. We tend to prefer a wine with full and fruitful nose and an extended finish. We started to try our Ridge MB a few nights ago and have been disappointed. Little nose, not full bodied and not a long finish. 3hr, 5 hr and overnight decant - same. Drank with chicken and shrimp, none with beef or other fatty/rich protein. Any advice?

I own a lot of Carlisle, a few bottles of Turley (no longer in club) Ridge, and am on the waiting list for Bedrock. You certainly seem to have a preference for Cali Zins. JR
