Very lovely Brunello with lovely fruit and seamless integration. After a string of OTH 2006s, this made us smile a lot, especially since it was bought at the winery on our honeymoon. One more bottle left for a special occasion. Drink before 2028.

This is getting real interesting. Earthy, vanillan christmas spices and sour cherry. We’re done with dinner and it’s cigar time, but this needs to be appreciated on its own. This is a deep thinking pinot that is really coming into its own. Marvelous!

We’ll in the 11 years since the last tasting note, it’s turned into apple cider, on the nose, on the palate and in color. Interesting, but way past it’s drinking window.

2/24/2014 7:40:00 AM - Hi Stealthman_1 - Hiya!! I like both of those Kirkland Champagnes as they are good for the $$ but I think the dosage is high in both. If you ever want to see Northern Italy like we did with a Piedmont native let me know. We are huge Piedmont fans and have traveled there twice (and would go again in a heartbeat....). Take care!
