Bright cherry, mint, and a hint of bubble gum on the nose. Some air brings to the fore an earthy background. Very delicate palate, with a defined earthiness--a somewhat bitter earthiness which is probably more like a "root-iness." The mint's still there. Too-high acidity blankets the finish. Give it some time.

Lovely aroma, the most persistent component of which is orange zest. The orange marries nicely with subdued oak and tart raspberry. Still has some structure.

Very fleshy, ripe grenache with enough depth to keep it from being a one-trick pony. Ready to drink now.
