This is a solid summe Rose that stands up to the best barbeque spread. Blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah. And at the price you can pick it up for at Trader Joe's - standard $5.99 - it's worth keeping several bottles on hand for those impromptu summer get togethers.

One of my favorite whites in Oregon. Elk Cove's Pinot Blanc never disappoints. It has lovely fruit and is a crisp summer sipper. While Elk Cove's Pinot Gris is well known, the Pinot Blanc is definitely for those who enjoy veering from the crowd. You can find it at most Fred Meyer stores in Portland as well as other wine shops around town. Great value for the price point. Try it. Bet you won't go back to Pinot Gris.

Surprising Chardonnay from CA - was not oaky in the least and that's a good thing. Nice fruit. Wasn't spectacular but wasn't bad. Middle of the road and interesting for those who like more unoaked chardonnay.
