Decanted this for an hour at Mortons before drinking, opened up a lot especially the second hour while drinking. Not as heavy as a nice cab, but still held up well with the steak, had a decent nose and spice flavors. Reminded me of the Justin, though not as good, I think I woud select something else from the cellar next time.
cracked the first of 6 st Mortons, right out of the bottle it was very tight, 45 minutes of decanting made a world of difference. Dark fruit and spice and paired great with a nice steak. Should only get better, can't wait for future bottles.
Finally cracked my first of 8 bottles since buying thme in March 2008. Gave it about 2 hours before tasting, was still pretty tight. Old world taste, very bold, paired great with the lamb I had that night. Could still use a lot more time, should inly improve.
