I'm a little more positive than some reviewers. Its definitely "old style" with a slightly more astringent and "green" or stem note, but after 30 minutes a really powerful "black cherry" note comes in, and then disappears. Tannins faded nicely, great mouth feel, secondary aromatics and a long smooth and slightly cranberry finish. I really liked this. But its ready now.
Not sure what to think here. Long finish, but thin in the mouth, with a hint of oxidation - which should not appear in a relatively young wine. I prefer his goutes and charmes, but overall, think it is too unreliable to be a real star.
