Decanted 30 minutes before drinking. The nose was wonderful, with strong dried flower and red fruit aromas, and maybe the tiniest hint of earth. Almost a tertiary take on more primary aromas. The palate was dominated by dark fruit, with plenty of acidity with a nice bit of spice. At first the palate was a little thin, but it fleshed out with more time in the decanter. By the time the bottle was finished an hour and a half later, it was starting to fade. At its peak it was lovely. For $40-50 at Envoyer a couple years ago this was a great value.

My first Faiveley Amoureuses, and it was a treat. Really pretty nose that tells you right away you're in Chambolle. All flowers and sweet and bright red fruit. Initially this had a darker-fruited palate but with time the sweet took on a sweeter, redder character. Really tasty stuff!
Decanted and consumed over four hours. When first popped, the wine was really tight and the usually expressive Dujac nose wasn't giving up much at all. The decant did wonders, and the wine blossomed with all of the usual awesome Dujac perfume of spice and flowers and red fruit. Silky palate of gentle red fruit and spice. Definitely more elegant than powerful. A very lovely wine.
