9/18/2019 2:30:00 PM - Hi Yiannis, just a question for one of you humble fan : what is the best way to buy the best assyrtiko when you live in France. It seems that Greece does not allow more than three bottles for private export...

If so, I'm sorry to have missed you, it would have been a pleasure (similar to reading your notes) to meet you in person. If they decide to do it again next year (I can't imagine they won't), maybe we can meet. BTW, we share the same 'vintage'. ciao

9/7/2015 6:11:00 PM - Hi Yiannis! Just wondering, are you Yiannis Karakasis the new Greek Master of Wine?

7/21/2015 7:38:00 AM - Hi Yiannis. An update. I for sure will visit Cephalonia--Gentilini and Robola Co-op. Also looking to visit Sigalas, Papaioannou, and Katogi Averoff or Strofilia. Sadly cannot make it as far north as Naoussa. Looking forward!

5/11/2015 1:36:00 PM - Thanks Yiannis! I will research whether I can fit in a stop by Cephalonia! Thanks so much for your time, and yes; it is marvelous how passionate wine collectors tend to be kindred souls :)

5/10/2015 7:58:00 AM - Hi Yiannis! Have appreciated your palate over the years via CT. Question: planning a trip to Greece and I am enchanted with Cephalonian Robola; but it seems the region is tiny and perhaps stuck in the primordial "co-op" phase: any thoughts on whether this region is worth the detour? Other than that, Nemea, Naoussa and Santorini are early 'musts'....thanks for your time! Look forward to your advice!

3/19/2014 9:24:00 AM - Yianni i found one 1995 for you. Cos D'estournel. Although in the past we were a bit not sure about it we had it yesterday and it was a charm!
