Nice acidity, food friendly. Some fruit in the nose, primarily plum, black raspberry, slight earthiness. Some sediment suspended in the wine. Ruby coloring. Finish was medium, and never really firmed up as it sat. Paired with pork chops and pan seared asparagus.
Last bottle. Very thin when first opened. Muted nose, with red fruit the dominant characteristic across the palate. I slowly sampled this over 40-50 minutes and finally started to see some interesting structure. Finish is medium, tannins are pretty weak. Passed it's prime drinking window, but after it opened up, it wasn't a bad wine.
