A hint of green on the nose but not harsh at all. Plenty of spice, Dujac profile, and even a bit floral. Very soft and open on the plate wth spice and red fruit. Quite forward and easy drinking at this time. This has a little more weight than the 07 but I prefer the nose on the 07 and the 07 overall.
10/25/2014 11:57:00 AM - FYC- I don't recall ullage on the Dujac 1983 CdlR from this spring, but see it was opened at dinner with friends so I would have noted if the ullage was unusual. For a 1983 I would consider 2 cm normal, perhaps 2.5 cm. I would probably have noted anything lower in the tasting note.
