Still strong tannins. Could use a few more years in the bottle. Pleasant malolactic nose, but a bit of a bitter note on the finish.

2008 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Silver Oak is one of my favorite wines. However, the oak on the 2008 is a bit too strong, as compared to the 2007. In time the fruit and tobacco come forward.
