Nose of ripe fruit; peach, slight syrup; delightful. Amber yellow colour with good clarity. Thin front palate with light fruit and a little too much astringency. Somewhat unpleasant. Full rest of the palate with a solid finish and some spice at the right temperature. Darker orange fruit gave way to apple, pear. Good with a balsalmic salad or goat's cheese tart/quiche.

Excellent wine! Decanted for 2hr. Appearance: bricky red on the pour and a dark deep red in the glass, good clarity; Nose: warm dark fruit, plum, blackberry, hint of rose; Palate: velvety and soft in the mouth, long pleasurable finish, good fruit-acid balance, pleasing tannins , dark berry fruits with undertone of caramel. Was wonderful with lamb. Great drinking now and could cellar for another 2-3 yr

Decanted for 2 hours. Appearance: dark, bricky red, clear, pooling; Nose: soft, dark berries, hint of eucalyptus; Palate: shorter finish than expected, enjoyable soft tannins, dark berries but not Aussie Cab big and some imbalance with the astringency. Complemented and enhanced by lamb chops. Overall a good wine but a little thin; need to drink now.
