Dark and translucent purple color. Ripe fruit on the nose. Fresh and crisp. I'd guess villages level over table bourgogne. A bit pricey, but a very nice wine drinking well now.

Velvety dark fruit with a subtle spice note. Really nice straight from the bottle and developed with 30 minutes of air. Acid is perhaps a bit high, but a nice mid-week red burg.
A lightly darker, but not oxidized or oxidative, profile is a giveaway this is not chardonnay. Orchard fruits with a nice spine of acidity. Good wine, but the somewhat short finish is a giveaway for it's village status. Better with food.
