Lovely copper/salmon color with spice box and wild strawberry aromas, adding a lovely layer of mocha as the wine breathes. Great vinosity and grip with overtones of lemon peel and raspberry. The ripeness of the 1998 vintage is evident in the fruit intensity and creaminess of the wine on the palate. Vanilla and fig nuances emerge on the rich palate. A strong, vinous rosé, almost Burgundian in style.

Oenoteque release, disgorged late 2005. Dosage = 6 g/l Medium straw-yellow color and pinpoint bubbles. Great yeasty, vinous aroma of hay, yellow fruit and minerals, adding mocha and biscuity nuances with time. Creamy entry with vanilla, biscuit and a strong citrus grip on the back palate. Mocha and mineral notes emerge as the wine spreads on the palate; the overall impression is one of intensity, vinosity and creaminess. Very long, crisp finish emphasizes a near-ideal balance of mineral and fruit notes.

Pale straw color with beautiful pinpoint bubbles. Light mineral and citrus aromas - shy but well balanced., In the mouth, the citrus impression blossoms to yellow fruit with a mineral underpinning. A bit fat and unfocused at the moment (though the wine was disgorged April, 2007). A classic Dom Perignon vintage where the DP style coexists with the style of the vintage. Long, mineral laced finished with a slightly sweet impression.
