opened for 3 hours, the nose is amazing.... smells like toffee, peanut butter, prunes, keep smelling and more keeps coming back. Quite smooth on the palate, hints of heat, not a huge wine but could go on forever. Keep for a few more years and try again.
From 375. Threw in the decanter for 2 hours. Starting to show a stronger nose, filled with violets, spices, prunes and roasted beef. Beautiful tannins, round and polished, with a bit of heat coming back from the back of my throat after swallowing and a lengthy finish. Great potential to be better yet and go well go down as one of the best Cos ever.
2 more hours in the decanter. Exploding nose of violets and prunes, cherries and milk chocolate. Very velvety on the palate, actually the texture starts to feel like a very nice chocolate drink. Wow!!
