So impressed at the ageability of Merry's wines. The dark fruits of this stands up so well, one would easily believe its 5 years younger. That in itself would be meaningless were it not for the melding of the wood, the earth and the acids. All leading to an astounding 02 RRV appellation wine. Sad its the last.

Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Elegant aromatics, more dense and chewy on palate to start, slightly more lean and edgy on finish. Clearly New World Pinot Noir. Drink up.

Ready to drink. Mature RRV profile. Beautifully ripe fruit balanced with a delicious tart and rich earth. Maybe just a bit hot. Glad I waited!
