This is a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvedre, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Carmenere.
A bit hazy mid ruby color due to probably the wine being unfiltered. The nose is clean with medium intensity, red and black fruits, sweet oak, plum jam, almond, chocolate, kirsch liquer and sweet spices. Youthful.
The wine is dry in the palate, with medium+ body and intensity, medium+ alcohol 14.50%), medium acidity, velvety medium tannins, feels a bit thin though compared to the nose, black cherries, plum, nutmeg and subtle oaky medium finish.
Very good wine, premium price than can be drank now but surely could age. Lovely
Blend of 6 varietals, which normally don't go together - see a prior review for the breakdown - Bordeaux, Rhone varietals + Carmenere. Color is ruby red. Nose is quite restrained, with red fruit, floral, powder. The wine is quite enjoyable, but doesn't deliver the punch or quality at this price that you'd expect from Chile. The blend ends up being toned down, rather than a complementary, full-bodied creation. Nice, but missing depth at this price.
