  Drunk with roast goose and trimmings on Christmas Day. An attractive semi-mature Gevrey profile of cherry, earth and sauvage, with notable old vine sappiness. The 1998 vintage was slightly noticeable on tannins being a little rough and a firm acidity poking through. Very enjoyable though ***1/2

  Superb. Elegant, refined and complex. Lots of perfume, lots of development character and surprising power. Wish I had more!
