Great expansive nose of strawberry and cola and same flavors in a med to body. Good length and in general drinks like a much more expensive wine. Very smooth and medium long finish.

Yes, this "generic" SB county pinot is at an amazing point in its life. There's deep strawberry, black cherry/cola flavors with some pinot spice in a very smooth and balanced finish. I've drank many a clunky pinot's at 3 times the price but this vintage, at this age is beautiful.

bought in Yorkshire England, paid £14 (similar price to entry level French chateau bottled Burgundy)
Wine lacks complexity - its very one dimensional, nothing subtle. Excellent aroma which is very tempting, taste is a very short blast of marshmallow with spiced plums, and then nothing. Nothing actually wrong with it, but fails to measure up against a similar priced Burgundy.

Still drinks great. Dark cherry fruit, some cola notes, very well balanced and almost rich finish.
