At well over 50 yrs old, it was just out of sheer curiosity and experience to give this a go. The color is light and pale, but its still kept alive by the very high acidity. We had to decant this against our wishes and all thought it would be over in seconds but to the contrary it sat there and developed even gaining some weight - lots of tertiary dried flowers and Indian spice aromas. It was a treat to drink considering I picked this up for about $60 at an auction.
