Smells more ripe than it tastes. Actually pretty nuanced, which surprised me. Bit of vanilla and chocolate, but ultimately too sour. A good change of pace, though, at $7 or $8.

Dinner at John's--showed really nice and lively, with expressive bright fruit and crushed mineral. Great food wine. More unctuous than a typical Dolcetto I think, more stuffing.

Nice dark fruit, juicy, touch of earth. A bit sour on the finish. A no-brainer at $7.

Pasta with Sandy, a perfect match, fresh and bright, yet deep with good fruit. Lovely food wine.
