Black cherry and berry from start-to-finish with good volume and still showing its brightness middle forward, ending with good spice and lift. Another vintage of this wine that just keeps getting better with more cellar time.

Lots of black cherry with just enough earth to make it interesting. Structure and tannins are fully resolved and integrated, offering support without being obtrusive, then ending with impressive energy. Good+ weight, length and balance. Much better now vs a couple of bottles tried in 2014/2015. I tend to find that I enjoy Claudia's Choice most 10-15 years post vintage. Glad I have three more bottles.

Mostly black cherry with earthy spice. Good ripeness, but some rough edges on the finish that aren't perfectly balanced. I will try again in another 2 or 3 years. Much like the last bottle tried 2 years ago.

Popped and poured. Black cherry aromas that seem moderately ripe with subtle spice hints. Very similar flavor profile with some red cherry hints and very good concentration, but a slight bitter edge on the finish that I hope will dissipate with time.
