Won on a KL Wines Auction. Read a lot about how this no longer had any life. I disagree. While it wasn't the best showing and I'm sure it's about 10 years past its "prime", it still showed well and developed well over the course of 2 hours.
Color: Still maintains some youth with a bit of a garnet color and definite bricking at the rim.
Nose: Leather, Tobacco, Cigar Box, Wet Forest Floor, Hints of bramble and raisin
Palate: Touch of dried black fruits (plum, black cherry, blackberrry), Medium plus acidity, Medium body, Medium Plus Tannin. Nose holds fairly true: Sweet tobacco, Cedar, great tertiary notes.
Finish: Long finish of sandalwood and tart cherries.
If you have a bottle of this and have yet to experience an aged NV Cab, its def time to pop this. After about 2 hours, it started fading and fast. Its a mid tier, past its prime NV Cab so you can't expect the world but all-in-all it was a really great experience and thats what I appreciate about wine.

Delicate, medium-light bodied, red fruit spectrum, low residual sugar with nice balancing acidity. Somewhat muted nose of light vanilla. Restrained, delicious!

The cork slid out with a minimum effort, was nicely intact and pretty saturated. Upon opening, the wine was pretty funky (dirty flower water and decay) slowly changing into aromas of ripe red fruits, vanilla, and earth. The aroma was seamless and just absolutely beautiful; so sweet and graceful. The wine had some decent bricking around the edges, medium bodied with flavors of juicy cherries, eucalyptus/mint, with a sort of rustic woodiness and a bit of boozyness. The tannins were well integrated, perhaps a bit too much, the wine kind of felt a bit tired- I'd say past it's prime, but still a nice drink.

Surprisingly youthful, Deep garnet, good fruit, Black pepper, madras spices, licorice, mature cab with a BV character after 30 minutes of air, iron (after lobster Mac), smoke, coffee, waxy, 75 Bordeaux-like nose after 1 hour

Nose reveals lots of green notes. On the palate, the fruit has faded. No tannins and only a hint of acid. Pleasant but indistinct. Past its prime.
