Eh. It’s fine. There’s red pit fruit…some cough medicine…herbs…dirt. Lots going on but kind of uncut. A bit unsettled. Not young, just not together. Fine acidity on the palate ensures life. Still kind of youthful. Not as beautiful as I typically find wines from this producer, but it’s still ok. But not worth a buyer’s premium. A mocha element emerges on day 2 - quality level consistent. 3/6, very good cork. Medium garnet core, pale rim. Nose shows strawberry and raspberry fruit infused with a touch of soil and mineral. Game too. Medium bodied, strawberry fruit' elegant with very fine tannins, fresh acids, good length finish. Drinking well.

From 75cl, perfect cork, opened but not decanted 30 minutes. Best on opening, deteriorated slightly over 2 hours. Fine beef consommée aromas, warm savoury entry with bright acidity and redcurrant-pip tannins; full red fruited mid-palate with strong, astringent, mouth-puckering gain to the deliciously fine-grained tannic finish. The most hedonistically enjoyable, delicate, complete and delicious wine from GB/BN I can remember tasting, this bottle was superbly au point this evening. 91P

2/6. Excellent cork. Pale/med limpid garnet core, pale garnet rim. Raspberries and violets waft from the glass, framed by soil and a touch of mulch. Medium bodied, raspberry fruit, old-vine creamy edge, soil and a touch of savour, elegant, tannins pretty much resolved, vibrant acids carrying a lightly mulchy good length finish with a faint tickle of tannin. Delicious and now drinking well.
