  Still remarkably drinkable out of the bottle. It opened up considerably in the glass. Was it possibly better a couple of years ago? Maybe.

  Continues to drink beautifully! Nose with layers of rich blackberry and cassis fruit with spice and chocolate notes finishing with resolving tannins and lovely concentration.

  Deep color. Black cherries, blackberries, licorice, and chocolate with hints of minerality in the nose. Black cherries, black currants and plums in the flavor. Nice complexity, well balanced, full bodied and a long finish.

  Aired for 2 hours, then a decant for an hour before sipping. Really is a rounded, soft long finish wine. No minerals, worked splendidly with Peking duck, charsui and a Canto meal. Aged very nicely and don’t think we need to wait more.
