  I enjoyed it the last time around, but didn't pay that much attention - we drank it on the patio on a hot end of a summer day, worked great. This go around was more than enjoyable - great depth on the nose and palate, more than I usually expect from a Pinot Gris. The wine is washed out yellow, but with almost a silver sheen, and on the nose I picked up notes of sweet apricot and wet stone... just smelled great. The palate carries more apricot, adding peach and citrus.... the oak is slight, adding some richness as well. The acidity goes without saying, and I'm actually surprised this stands up as well as it does this many years along.... great wine.

  An oaked version of KE's consistently good Pinot Gris - nice orchard fruit on the nose, some lemon and other citrus notes with a rich mouth feel. Really enjoyable wine.
