Disgorged June 2014. Never ending fine perlage, showing its youth. Fresh strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Light and lively with dominant red beery and notes of orange peel and minerals on the finish.

(NV H. Billiot Fils Champagne Grand Cru Brut Rosé) Light salmon pink color with steady tiny bubbles; light tart cherry, pink grapefruit nose; tasty, tart cherry, ripe pink grapefruit, mineral palate; medium-plus finish 91+ points
(NV Henri Billiot Brut Rosé) ($68.00) Same base as the NV Brut, with still red PN from ’04-’05. Deep color for rosé. Disgorged 1/11 and showing explosive fruit; Billiot rosé after a month in the weight-room, and even with 9-10g/l of RS it seems drier than earlier renditions. Plumper fruit perhaps? This has nowhere to go but up.
