The nose has a medium+ intensity of ripe blackberries, cassis, obvious barnyard aromas, vanilla and leather. The wine is increasingly complex with time in the glass, aromatic and quite concentrated. This wine is developing.
The palate is dry with high acidity, full firm and slightly drying tannins, medium+ alcohol, full bodied with a medium+ intensity and a long finish. Really quite lovely!
This is a very good quality Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux, France.
Medium bodied, medium ruby color, aromas of earth and mushroom, silky tannins, bright acidity with violets, flowers, spices, fresh berries and mineral. Elegant, tame, sophisticated and filled with finesse….I prefer more heft.
From 375ml after 2 hours in the decanter. Very dark in colour, blackish purple. Sweet dark fruit, creme de cassis, cedar, graphite as well as smoky oak. Very complex and fascinating. On the palate lovely acidity, dark fruit. The tannins are slightly drying, but well integrated and round. Overall really well balanced with good length and a tart finish. This youthful wine is very pretty already and should be even more impressive in a couple of years. Good QPR, too. 91-93+
