The nose has a nice creaminess and lots of red fruit- cherries & strawberries. The palate also has bright red cherries, raspberries & strawberries, also creamy. Medium-bodied, a touch of acid and a short to medium finish. Very refreshing, especially considering it's four years old.

Dark rose color. Nose was reticent, with a hint of floral and some watermelon notes. In the mouth, a touch bitter and surprisingly bland, without a really defined sense of fruit profile. Tasty enough as a simple sipper and certainly improved a touch at a warmer temperature but goes over as a pretty pedestrian wine. B

A fresh fairly dark rose, a very dark pink perhaps. The nose is strawberry, citric and acid. The taste is light bodied wine a splash of sweetness, pineapple, with an acidic finish. Best when a touch warmer so take it out and let it warm up a few degrees.
Wine Type: Rosé Blend, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley Web Site: http://www.swanwinery.com/ Cost:$ 15 Score: 86 Tasting Geek: Ted Weldon

On the Pinot side of a rose in color. Prefer lighter styles.

This was a good on-the-porch wine. Loved it with some fresh oysters.
