Very enjoyable Fronsac, love the merlot cherry fruit. Very clean fruity nose, almost new world, as are the flavors. I had a glass last night with lots of swirling but no decant and while a bit restrained there was plenty if fruit to enjoy with a simple steak dinner. And now after 24 hours open the tannin is very nicely integrated with the fruit and a 15 second finish evolves with blackberry and chocolate notes. I drank the first six of these a little early it appears but the wine is now entering its prime. Enjoy for next five years at least.

Last of 6 purchased from Garagiste way back when. I have to disagree with the prior posts stating this wine is on the decline. I found this bottle to be full of fruit and life. Tannins we’re still present, but have definitely faded since my last bottle 2 years ago. Secondary flavors and aromas just starting to emerge. If I had more, I’d love to try again in 2-3 years. Great QPR

Nose of stewed plums and tar. Very full bodied and with notable high alcohol and a warm zip on the palate after swallowing. Dark black fruits in a very ripe and quite (over) extracted style for my taste. This should probably be drunk now and will not likely improve with additional bottle age. Drink with a fatty red meat like a ribeye.

Casis, chocolate. Little bit of baryard funk. Tasty. Still drying short tannins, mid finish. Lovely. Drink over next few years.

Still vibrant with a little grip. This has been an amazing bottle that has served us well over the years.
