Surprisingly fresh for a nearly 7-year old California Chard. Good notes of citrus and caramel, with a relatively rich mouthfeel and a medium-length finish that showed lemon oil and lychee. Last bottle, and probably won't last a lot longer, but quite tasty.

Mature oaked vanilla, creamy texture, golden hues. Fruit is starting to fade with sugar no longer standing tall to its acidity. Still delightful, but unless this has another evolution, 2006 is the year!

Tasted next to the 1999 which i did not like as much. Much fruitier and fuller than the 1999. A rather gripping wine in your mouth. Spice, oak and cinamon apple notes. 86.
