  • Tasty enough but not Chablisienne. Too much fat, but very nice Chardonnay with a touch of lemon. Nice enough but not the typicity I like.

  • A little discreet on the nose, with notes of minerals, wet stones, citrus and apples. Fresh and sappy with good length. Quite nice, but not entirely fulfilling its promise. Perhaps wait a year or two to enjoy this one.

  • Pale gold, with a pale shade of hay at the rim. A little muted on opening. Unripe guava at first, paired with notes of oyster shells and green apple. With some additional air, elegant notes of lemon peel and sugared lemon tea. The mineral notes become more and more dominant with time, but w/o appearing too acidic for example. Subtle notes of citrus and Granny-Smith-Apples on the palate, with chalky notes. Again, oyster shells. Beautiful balance. A long finish which is mainly accompanied by the elegant, mineral impression.

  • Served with fried soft shelled crabs, linguini, herb aioli. Muted on opening, a bit too cold and needed air time. Decanted, and over course of dinner grew to be delicious. Citrus, lemon but neither aged nor brightly acidic, rather lovely presence, some softer yellow fruit, fragrant light herbal notes, mineral, classic bit of chalk/seashell. Palate gained length and a subtle, more round quality while remaining clean and balanced. All in all fine interwoven tapestry of flavors--was glad there was a third of the bottle to enjoy after finishing the food.
