bottle and fill excellent, cork fungating, but sound. It is always such a treat to have an old Huet - the sec here is slightly golden in color, initially reticent but opens up with air. Lovely dry wine with autumnal apple and almond scents, demure and a perfect companion to a sesame crusted fish tonight. Not fading, but definitely drinking well now.

A pristine example. Light straw in color. Classic Chenin character but a bit muted on fruit and acid. Nose of earth, marzipan and a hint of citrus. Dry on the palate light pear with nice minerality and light acidity. I feel like this won't get more interesting with fading fruit and acid so I'd drink up in the next few years.
