Drank this last night based on the recommended End Drink date of 2020. It was still outstanding. Bright fruits upfront on the nose. Well integrated tannins. That being said, due to the high alcohol content (15.6%) and high tannins this can easily sit in a cellar for 5 more years and still be terrific

Velvety dark fruit, chocolate spice. Very well integrated, at peak and going strong. Delicious with bistro steak. Previous less than stellar ratings were flawed bottles for sure.

Upon pouring I remarked that this is the blackest wine I have seen. No bricking on the rim, just so dark. The nose is dark fruit, smoke. Palate staining with chocolate and black fruits; somewhat sweet and big to the point of competing with a LBV port. No kidding. Impressive but seems like more of a fruit bomb and not quite there as an integrated package. After a decant and 2+ hours it faded markedly.

Drinking well right now with lots of smooth dark red fruit and light spice. Should hold for a couple more years.

Outstanding full bodied, nicely layered Bordeaux blend. Drinking very well in February 2019.
