Such an easy, persuasive wine - mirabelle, lemon, chalk, white flower, a touch of brioche. Fresh and lively on nose and palate with a delicious depth of flavor and fine finish.

Disgorged 2018. Sweet-tart flavors. Fruity but very dry. Opens up to lemon-lime candies, powdered chalk, and a lingering lime pith note. There’s a faint biscuit note like a water cracker and white chocolate. It’s saline, but the predominant impression is of lemon-lime candy. Not the most complex Champagne out there, but a lovely aperitif. Pairs well with roasted vegetables.

Yeasty, hazelnuts, and a little orchard fruit. Soft bubbles and bracing acidity. I prefer fruitier, but this was good.
