  • I would agree with the other taster on this. The only thing I would disagree on very slightly (which is just a matter of what scale you use) is the score. But we are absolutely tasting (or not given the absence of any noteworthy flavor) the same wine. This is drinkable with no immediately obvious flaws. The problem is that is absolutely completely without any distinction. It is pretty close to insipid. I would drink a carafe of this in a café and not even notice what I had been drinking. There isn't even any pleasure, which for Anjou--one of the more gouleyant wines out there, is not cool. And from Domaine de Baumard is sad.

  • Weekly tasting group #014a; End of year tasting; a mixed set. (@ My place): Transparent red color. Paprika and red cherries in the bouquet. On the palate light and frivolous. There is some paprika, soft acidity and tannin. Supple red fruits in this very easy going wine. Ok wine, but very disappointing considering the producer.
