  Last bottle gone unfortunately. One feels the ago, wouldn‘t wait much longer. But fantastic to drink, sweetnes combined with immense power and some acidity. Incredible pleasure.

  From magnum. As expected, this is very special and has little in common with 99% of barberas. Inky, extracted, quite oaked, multi-layered, seductive, and long as the day. This is not your Tuesday night pizza barbera but rather special occasion juice to be drunk with friends who care. Meticulously made. While this is internationally styled and quite Parker-esque, there is no denying that this is very fine wine. It has aged flawlessly in magnum. I have another mag that I will hang onto for another decade as this most clearly has the stuffing to endure and improve.

  Beautifully drinking at this stage. The 16% alcohol are well integrated now in my opinion. Surprising typical fruit still available compared to other vintages of the BdU of this age. May be peaking in 5 years or so. Happy to have a couple of bottles in the cellar.

  Acutally was too low last time with 93. The way I judge a wine most is what feeling it produces when you swirl the wine in the mouth. And this onenhas such a nice acidity and taste, that you can‘t get enough. Pure pleasure.

  Fantastic bottle, one doesnˋt feel the percentage of alcohol. Great flavour, long finish, very balanced. Doesnt show any signs yet of being too old.
