PNP - This wine is holding up well... Deep purple color; nice body. Nose is of sweet plum; palate of dark prunes... (almost an Amarone vibe)... No residual tannins. A nice tartness and a little acidity on the finish. Due to the lack of residual tannins, this could be reaching the end of prime.... but is great now... so don't hesitate opening! And ENJOY (don't we deserve that this year?!?)

I had this with a ham and cheese sandwich on 5/2/19. It had a powerful and fragrant nose of blackberry, smoke, burnt toast, char, spice and mineral aromas. The palate was rich, dense, powerful, dry and hot with flavors of blackberry, black cherry, burnt toast, char, spice and minerals. 91+

The 2010 Rattlesnake zin is still drinking very well. The nose is explosive with raisin, blackberry and wet stone. On the palate, the mouthfeel is excellent and (surprisingly for a nine year zin) it has a long, delicious finish.

PnP. Opened up nicely in 30 minutes. Bright cherry. In a good place now.

Held up well at 10 years. Deep dark color. Very rich but somewhat less jammy than before. Last bottle of 2010
