PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -med red mild bricking -muted berry and faint notes of maturity -med acidity gives tangy brightness, med/med- weight, earthy red berry pine palate is more expressive than the nose, med- tannins -quite pleasant, notably evolved since prior bottle 3 years ago, now in full maturity

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -nearly semi-translucent dark red faint purple, slight clearing at edge -expressive slightly candied gin/pine black cherry licorice -just barely med acidity most prominent near finish, med/med- weight but reasonable depth with earthy savory black cherry licorice, med tannins -interesting pleasant, reminiscent of a rustic lighter weight nebbiolo-based wine blended with frappato, evolved since last bottle 2 years ago, may still have some upside as tannins further resolve

So distinctly Tyrolean. I could not place the flavors but most prominent was what I can only describe as cool (temp not hip) purple fruit. Quite seductive.

Looking at other people's notes, I wonder if this wine shouldn't be decanted, at the moment, to show best. I've had it once in a restaurant, without decanting, and can see how it could be described as simple. However, this bottle decanted at home was complex and unusual, the wine evolving in the glass.

Similar to last bottle but also with a brett-like component
