Poured to a light golden color; A nose with lots of stonefruits (apricot and peach) along with some cinnimon, a floral hint and a silky smoothness. A wonderful wine around its peak as it lasted in the glass for quite a while.

Lost my notes on this but I do recall a silky texture with integrated acidity, subtle tropical minerality, long finish. Really delightful, stole the show for the night.

A nice golden color in the glass accompanied by floral notes, cinnamon, and pumpkin. A very big and smooth finish but when paired with the food, developed an acidic note. (something in the salmon with fennal and apple didn't work). A great sipping wine.

Wine-Pages Alsace Offline (St John Restaurant, London): A very gentle, restrained nose with nice spicing. Almost a hint of tobacco on the nose. In the mouth, this is a very easy, balanced pinot gris that lacks to concentration of the Urbain ... and benefits from that. I have to say I really like these lower level Trimbach PGs.
