Asleep at pop. Left it for a few hours... came back to find a bright opening with grapefruit and tropical fruit notes, wet stone and minerality in the middle and a bright, lasting finish. YUM! Day 2: Even better... more clarity from each component. More pronounced fruit, more wet stone, more length in the finish. At pop we were thinking we'd kept this too long... now we're wishing we had more. YUM!

Maybe we got a bad bottle, maybe not. Nose was decent, chard-like. Taste was really thin, like it was "gone", meaning old. Had some of the components of a Chard, but much weaker. We have had Talley wines before and this was a downright disappointment. Did not even finish mine. If you have any of this, it would be a drink immediately.

Secondary characteristics are showing. Still quite good, but it's past prime for my tastes

First rate chardonnay. Must be close to its peak now. Full colored, full bodied and with an extremely long and satisfying finish.
