Decanted yesterday. Went through a weird roller coaster over several hours with some funky aromas that at one point, I thought it was corked. Palate was similarly weird - some times cidery, some time similar to TCA taint. But then the TCA taint disappeared. Put 1/2 bottle into a 375 ml bottle. Now, smelling this and it's clearly corked. There's a lovely, honeyed apple and lemon and minerals underneath. But yeah...it's *&#@^& corked. Bummer.

Les Gras Moutons ’10 has retained its freshness and relative youthfulness. Compared to Briords ’15, this shows more or less equally developed, albeit spicier and slightly more intense. Should cellar well for several years more.

Decanted for 1.5h. Nice aromas of lemon curd, tart apples, herbs, minerals and a hint of sea spray. Creamy lemon curds on palate with apples, nice bitter pith, minerals herbs and hint of iodine and sea spray. Nice moderately long finish. Excellent acids give some zing to a creamy mouthfeel. More focused than in its youth. This is excellent. 92+

On the softer and bigger end of the spectrum for the appellation though still with considerable freshness, lees-y notes and varietal character that persists on day 2 after opening.
